MELISA test kit order form
A test kit for MELISA testing can only be ordered with the support of a healthcare professional – you will need to have a practitioner to refer you for MELISA testing. It’s key that MELISA is used as part of your diagnosis or treatment plan and not as the sole means of diagnosis. MELISA Diagnostics cannot provide treatment advice.
To order MELISA, please fill out the form below. Be aware of the following:
- MELISA testing is provided by InVitro Prevent laboratory in Schwelm, Germany. It’s possible to send blood samples by courier or arrange an appointment directly at the lab.
- If you need to ship samples by mail, you will be provided with a test kit. The courier will be arranged on your behalf.
- Patients should not be taking immunosuppressant medication, as this may affect the immune response. If it is not possible to stop medication, please reach out via our contact form HERE to see if there are any options for you.
If you are unsure which testing panels to order or which metals you are exposed to, learn about various dental and orthopaedic materials and other possible sources of metals HERE. A personalised testing panel may be created by selecting individual metals on the test requisition form.
Select testing: In general, testing for all ongoing metal exposure is recommended, not only for metals found in an implant which seem to have triggered health issues. Even though problems may start after receiving a new implant the issue might be based on galvanic corrosion (implants interfering with other restorations previously tolerated), more info HERE.
