This study published in Nutrients 2017, suggests that contact dermatitis due to nickel allergy is more frequent in patients with non-coeliac wheat sensitivity.
The study goes on to suggest that Nickel allergy should be evaluated in NCWS patients who have cutaneous manifestations after wheat ingestion.
